Advanced Wireless Networking

Enable wireless freedom when you set up wireless network connectivity for your PC or Mac and computer peripherals with this advanced wireless networking service. Our technician will set up, configure your home computer wireless router and network connection with your ISP, enable wireless encryption, troubleshoot connectivity issues and connect up to 2 computers or devices.

Technician Work Time: 2 to 3 hours

A Planet Cyber Technician will:

• Set up and configure your wireless network connection with your ISP
• Connect a wireless router to your ISP modem and update router firmware
• Update your SSID, administrator username (if applicable) and administrator password
• Enable wireless network encryption for added security
• Network up to 2 compatible computers or devices, including file and print servers, network-ready printers, TVs, home theater equipment, VoIP devices, game consoles, Apple TV, TiVo, media center extenders and Slingbox
• Test your wireless connection for optimum functionality
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, including reconfiguration and reconnection to the Internet (if applicable)

The following are not included with this service:

• Computer repair
• Computer hardware or software troubleshooting
